Exports and PDFs

Every project page exports from the same place: the Share popover in the top bar, on its Export tab. Some editors add extra formats. Exports download directly in your browser.

Steps for the common case are in Export a PDF.

At the bottom of the Export tab, Combine with other documents… bundles several project documents into a single PDF:

  1. Expand the section and tick the documents: Callsheet, Shooting schedule, Shot list, Gear list, Script. Reorder with the arrows.
  2. Choose Page size and Orientation. Including the script forces portrait.
  3. Click Download combined PDF (N). Two or more sections get a generated cover page with a table of contents.

A callsheet must be published before it can be combined.

PDFs download as project-name-doctype.pdf (for example myfilm-shotlist.pdf, myfilm-schedule.pdf, myfilm-combined.pdf). A “Generating PDF…” toast shows while the server renders; “PDF exported” confirms the download.

  • Every generated PDF carries a footer with who generated it, when, “Created with CineFlow”, and page numbers.
  • On the Free plan, PDF pages carry a CineFlow watermark. Paid plans export without it.
  • Server-rendered PDF exports count against a monthly quota on the project owner’s plan (exports of your own workspace documents count against your plan). When it is used up, the PDF export limit reached dialog offers a one-time PDF Export Pack (100 additional exports) or a plan upgrade. See Billing and usage.
  • Client-side exports do not use the PDF quota: slides (PDF, PPTX, PNG), Word (.docx), Markdown, JSON, Fountain, FDX, and Outline downloads.
  • On phones, the Export tab for schedule, gear, and people is not available; export from a desktop or tablet browser.
